I have to write where they are talking &
I shall not feel as if my letter was very
interesting but I do feel as I ought to
let thee know how I feel now and
when I can mingle with my friends
in a social way again. I may have
a greater fund of facts - but I cannot
think that more of loss would be cont
taind [sic] in a future letter - I feel as if I
wanted to see you all - and when I
can I will make a visit to R [Rochester]—
so with many thanks for thy visit
and hope of seeing Isaac and thee
some time [sic] I will close
Thine Sarah E. Thayer
PS I did not think to speak to thee
of the Mortgage on Genesee St.
If it should feel to be a burthen
to thee - I can as well take it here
and place the endorsement on
myself - I dont [sic] know why I have
given the [sic] a task unnecessary for either
party unless it was my ignorance
