Well now here I am on the 4" page and still not done ^.^ I have such nice time to write ^as^ my room is warmish day & night by a morning Glory stove and I am clear of all my old ailments fleshy and well ^.^ I seem renewed in life and am mostly in good spirits. I have learned to be content with little society. All around are the old [] with their dried up creed and we are not congenial spirits so we stay at home mostly. [Aby] Chase enjoys such health, as I never anticipated for her does a great amount of work. Tho' her husband is one of the most helpful and that [] of men Mexie's Eldest girl attends the seminary over there on the opposite side of this lake and the little 4 year old is much company for me This is considered a very healthy place a fine fruit country tens of [] are here assorted and packed & shipped on the Steam Boat which runs all winter.
