             Dear Friend I have

been thinking about my watch, I suppose it is still in your ___ keeping + perfectly safe; the You may think me childish but I do not know of any one thing that I should feel so bad to loose as that; as it was left to me by Mr. P + is in itself a valuable time keeper. Will you please inform me whether it is safe. + also the amount due you. Henry has been absent from here for several weeks past, I hope he is earning money but don’t __ know. I have been very lonely here as the people are all or nearly all strangers to me. I am in hopes that H. will make his__
